After updating to Creators Update my CSR 4 bluetooth dongle has delays with sound after some hours. A Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker connects to it, and after some hours sound gets out of sync and I have to restart AudioSrv, particularly AudioEndPointBuilder service and sound gets correctly synced again, but after another hours, it gets to present the same syncing issue again. I have tried with drivers provided by Windows Update and also the drivers from the manufacturer which is CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack Cinolink BT403 Drivers-20146Z. Both of them didn't help to fix this issue. I don't know if new spatial sound or atmos dolby feature has to do something with it, but I also tried to disable them (set to None). However, it was of no help. When using Linux on this same machine (dual boot), sound works well without that syncing issues even after a long period of usage. Since I delete Windows.old I cannot rollback to Anniversary Update, so I'm afraid to reinstall Anniversary and end up again with Creators Update. Is there any way to lock Windows Anniversary Update so it would not update to this unwanted update? Thank you for your answer, I tried all those suggestions, no fix at all. What is worse, USB Dongle audio has the same issue, I don't really like to restart Windows since it takes a long time to restart, I don't know why. I prefer to suspend, as I always did on Anniversary Update. Now I regret updating and having to reinstall all of my softwares again, customizing their settings and all that. If this is not going to get fixed, I'm going back to Windows 10 Anniversary and block updates:( I just installed Windows 7 on another partition in order to avoid mandatory updates, just in case this audio problems won't be fixed. Hello, It seems that you have deleted your recent post, may we know if you are still having issues with your Bluetooth audio sync? While it's likely that you already have the most recent driver through the Windows Update, if you're having trouble with a device, you may attempt to update it and see if it resolves the issue. Here's how: • Press the Windows button + X, then click Device Manager. • Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click it, and select Update Driver. • Select Search automatically for updated driver software. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you may look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions. Yes, the issue persisted after a clean refresh. I have measured latency with LatencyMon and it shows SM Bios Interrupt stall is more than 100ms. I switched NVidia and HDAudio to MSI mode, after that tried using spatial sound, audio effects, and now it seems to be stable enough. However, bluetooth seems to still have delay issues, but now it seems to be a constant delay, so I just have to modify my videoplayers to -75ms or -100ms delay so it will look correctly synced. And when I'm using the integrated audio I have to disable that delay. I tried the Search automatically for updated drivers feature, but it didn't find for AMDA00 interface and my SMBus Controller 8C22 Series/C220. But I found newer versions. So I installed/upgraded them manually. As I mentioned before, I'm using a USB CSR 4.0 Bluetooth.
